Recycling a fable

I found this fable:

Once there was a poor man and a rich man. The rich man always bragged to the poor man that he had money, bikes, televisions, and everything.

But the poor man was sad. So one day the rich man left his house to go to a fancy restaurant and while he was eating his house was robbed.

He didn’t have one thing left.

Meanwhile, the poor man found a coin and was happy. He entered it in the lottery and he won. Money came out flying out of the machine. Hurray he shouted!

Then I added two additional sentences at the end.  Please tell me what you think of the difference.

Now he has become a rich man.  Will he find a poor man to brag to?
