Liking being liked

Just read on Facebook someone asking for “likes”.  This group is close to a particular threshold and seek “25 more” to reach it.

Have you ever actually asked someone to like you? We all want to be liked, but how does asking to be liked relate to wanting to be liked?

I’ve been blogging regularly for over 7 years. I want people to read my blog. I wasn’t people to read it and want to share it worth others. Other than this paragraph, though, I am hesitant to outright say this.

I am turned off by a lot of self-referential content. This request for “likes,” though, has me wondering if it is just more honest and transparent than I am.
